Churches Together in
Kidderminster

Welcome to St George's Church, Kidderminster.

St George's Church overlooks the town of Kidderminster and has a tower that can be seen from miles around.  It is a 'Waterloo Church' built after the battle and consecrated in 1824.  It was rebuilt after being gutted by fire in 1922.  Imposing from the outside, it has a very welcoming, light and airy interior.  The congregation is warm and friendly.

Our Services

Worship has an air of relaxed formality and we value the use of a wide range of music.  There are three services on a Sunday.  Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at 8.00am.  Our other Services are as follows:-

2nd Sunday - 11.00am - Holy Communion & 6.30pm - Evening Prayer

3rd Sunday - 11.00am - Family Service & 6.30pm - Evening Prayer

4th Sunday - 11.00am Holy Communion & 6.30pm - Evening Service

5th Sunday - 11.00am - Holy Communion & 6.30pm - Evening Service

We also have Holy Communion at 10.15am on Wednesday which is followed by coffee and fellowship.

We also have a number of groups that meet during the week.  On Tuesday evening there is a club for 11 - 14's, the Ladies Fellowship meets each month.  There are home groups on different nights when people meet informally for Bible Study and prayer.
